lanitaAll my life, I had a fascination with any and all types of administrative work. From the clerks that performed tasks behind the counter at a catalog distribution store, to grocery clerks, secretaries, accountants, and more. I would very intently observe their job tasks. As a child, I would role play those parts I had so carefully watched take place in the marketplace, as I had this deep desire burning within me to perform what I had observed so many others doing.

Associates Degree Secretarial Science

By the time I was in high school, I had the opportunity to take typing courses, along with a two-year Intensive Office Education course. I couldn’t have been happier. I had truly found my niche in life! My senior year, I attended a presentation put on by a business school near my home town. Needless to say, the school had an immediate new student enrollment that day! I greeted my parents that very same evening with the necessary paperwork and asked them to tour the school with me. Upon graduating from high school, I attended Bradford Business School in Columbus, Ohio, where I received my Associates Degree in Secretarial Science. My career as an Executive Assistant began, just before I graduated from business school.

Several Years Later
As the years passed, I actively supported all levels of management. I have never regretted pursuing the career path that I did, nor did I ever regret receiving a college education. Countless times, I have literally spoken it outwardly, “I’m so thankful I was able to go to college for this!”

In Feb 2006, I launched out to fulfill my dream of having my own administrative business, in which I am now able to support busy executives and business owners on a daily basis. I also teach others how to pursue their dream to become a Virtual Assistant. If you would like to learn more about my services or becoming a Virtual Assistant, please feel free to contact me.
